Glasto Style Round-Up – Glastonbury 2014

Glastonbury 2014 Style Round Up

Well, the heavens opened as is tradition at Glastonbury festival, and the festival site at Worthy Farm in Somerset became a veritable mud bath before the sun came out and blessed thousands of festival goers over the five day celebration of music and arts. And the Sloanies were out in full force with model Alexa Chung seen swanning around in a glam silver playsuit teamed with Hunter ankle boots and Georgia May Jagger spotted red-faced at an ATM on the way to Glastonbury – luckily her Mom Jerry Hall was performing at the festival if she was in need of borrowing some cash! The Delevingne sisters were notable absent from this year’s event, with eldest sister Chloe having just given birth to her first child and Auntie Cara posting snaps of her holding baby Atticus on Instagram over the weekend.      Alexa Chung Glastonbury 2014

As predicted, those bright and tropical prints were out in full force throughout the weekend, no doubt lightening the spirits when the skies went dark and thundery. And of course, Hunter wellies led the pack in terms of essential festival footwear, accompanying even the most glamorous getups in pure eccentric British style. Let’s take a closer look now at what the Sloanies wore at Glastonbury 2014…

Lily Allen

The rebellious songstress who performed on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury bucked the Hunter crowd in favour of the more expensive Sloanie festival footwear, a pair of Le Chameaus. We loved her Fendi Indira sunglasses with their crystal-embellished tips, and thought her multicolour tie-dye shirt was bang-on trend for a bit of festival fun.

Cressy Bonas

We love Cressy’s classic Hunters and her signature scrunchie

She set the tabloids on fire last summer when she was snapped at Glastonbury with Prince Harry and friends. Cressida Bonas came back to Glasto this time around less one Prince in tow but with the trademark scrunchie still firmly in place. Cressy fully bought into the novelty sunglasses trend of the moment for Glastonbury, pairing this particular outfit with her trusty Hunter wellies, a vintage tee and cutoffs. The eclectic nearly-princess was spotted throughout the weekend in a range of outfits that included bright white short dungarees and an Adidas hoodie, bright blue beanie and gold hooped earrings. Cressy spent her nights dancing with friends at exclusive Glasto nightspot The Rabbit Hole, and huddling for warmth with actor Will Poulter in the VIP area when the rain came down. Harry, just don’t look…

 Sienna Miller

Sloanie actress, boho style icon and close friend of the Delevingnes Sienna Miller was pictured rocking a big Glastonbury trend for 2014 – the spandex onesie. Great for keeping off the rain, we’ll admit, but perhaps not so practical for bathroom visits or when the sun comes out. Sienna’s (and singer Rita Ora’s, also pictured) were designed by Russian label Ekat, and they’ve just become a huge 2014 festival trend.
