Last week London probably had more celebrities per square mile than any other city in the world, when London Fashion Week came to town and overlapped with not only the BAFTAs, but the BRIT Awards and the Elle Style Awards too. It’s been tough to pick just a few for you, but here are just some of our highlights from the last seven days in London town…
Cara’s Catwalk Selfie
It’s another first for Miss Delevingne as she took to the LFW catwalk for Giles Deacon whilst taking a selfie with her iPhone, pulling a few of her trademark goofy looks in the process. Within moments of coming off the runway, the video was getting thousands of hits where she’d posted it to both Twitter and Instagram. Trust Cara to be the only model in the world to not get into trouble for having her phone out while at work. Kendal Jenner made her UK modelling debut for Giles Deacon too, after modelling for Marc Jacobs in New York the week before.
Hunter Makes a Catwalk Splash

Brits and tourists alike were charmed by Hunter’s quintessentially British catwalk concept: a rain swamped runway in homage to the wettest winter on record in the UK. This rain might have spelt bad news for many, but it’s no doubt been great news for the Hunter brand. Front row VIPs were only just spared a drenching as their models, including next big thing Suki Waterhouse (shown above), showcased their A/W collection of capes and raincoats, and their new range in wellington boots.
Angie Wears a Tux

As hubby Brad was awarded the ‘Best Film’ BAFTA for Twelve Years a Slave, Angeline Jolie looked on with pride. In her custom-made Saint Laurent tuxedo. Few women would have the confidence to pull this masculine look off on a red carpet full of Oscar-worthy gowns, but Angie looked smoking hot in cigarette pants and red lips. Hey, maybe she was taking tips from our Borrowed from the Boys blog post last month. We can dream, right?
Burberry Monogram Blankets

There was a definite folksy trend at LFW this year – lots of rich colors like oxblood red, heavy textures and layering going on – and Burberry exemplified this perfectly with their Prorsum poncho blankets. These equestrian-looking accessories with a bold geometric pattern are perfect for slinging on or snuggling under, and they’re made of oh-so-soft lamb’s wool and cashmere. We want.
Mulberry and Cara Delevingne have a lot in common. English born-and-bred with a penchant for setting trends and redefining style, it’s no wonder Cara’s just designed her own range for Mulberry, and modelled it of course. The Cara bag comes in three sizes and three different colours, and can be either worn on the back, over the shoulder, or hand-held. For a model so proud of her heritage she had ‘Made in England’ tattooed on her foot recently, it’s no wonder she was keen to collaborate with this label.
Suki and Bradley
We couldn’t round up this past week in LDN without mentioning couple of the moment, English model Suki Waterhouse and Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper. It’s been a busy week professionally for the two of them, that’s for sure – and they’ve turned up in support of one another at events all over the capital. Suki scooped Elle Model of The Year at the weekend before taking to her packed Fashion Week schedule. Then Bradley sat front row at Burberry and charmed Anna Wintour as Suki modelled the Burberry Prorsum collection. Returning the favour, Suki then accompanied Bradley to the BAFTAs, where American Hustle was nominated in ten categories and came away with two awards. Sweet!
